This signing marks the entry of the Ramada Encore brand in Fiji and the first property in the Wyndham system to be located on the island of Vanua Levu, offering more diversified travel options for travellers in Fiji.

With bustling international ports and airports, coupled with its breathtaking natural environment, Fiji stands as one of the most sought-after tourist destinations in the Asia-Pacific region. According to Visa’s Asia Pacific Destination Forecasts 2023-2025: FIJI, the country is expected to attract 1.13 million international visitors by the end of 2024. As demand for international visitors traveling to Fiji continues to pick up, it is predicted that Fiji will draw in 1.32 million visitors by the end of 2025.

The 40-room hotel will cater to both corporate and leisure travellers, with high-quality and generously sized rooms, meeting and conference facilities and extensive food and beverage options. Located within Damodar City, which has already established itself as the main commercial and retail precinct within Labasa, the hotel will offer easy access to a wide variety of retail and food and beverage options, in addition to the brand-new cinema complex.

“Fiji is a magical destination with a flourishing tourism segment. This new hotel will fuse together style and convenience, allowing business and leisure travellers to experience the beautiful Labasa region,” said Div Damodar, CEO of Damodar Group.
