LoungePair has entered an agreement with Auckland Airport and Vietnam Airlines, and has also strengthened its leadership.
LoungePair has signed key agreements with Auckland International Airport (AKL) and Vietnam Airlines, adding AKL’s Strata Lounge to its network and partnering to power Vietnam Airlines' new Lotusmiles Lounges platform. The company has also brought on LoungeBuddy founder and former American Express executive, Tyler Dikman, as an advisor.
LoungePair provides on-demand and walk-up airport lounge access without the need for more memberships, reward programmes, or loyalty status. It has signed a partnership with AKL’s Strata Lounge to add inventory for its customers. LoungePair members can now purchase Strata Lounge passes through its platform when travelling through Auckland, New Zealand.
“Strata Lounge is designed to give travellers a comfortable place to reset before or between flights,” said Scott Tasker, Chief Customer Officer at Auckland Airport.
“Partnering with LoungePair makes that space available to a wider range of travellers, and the response we’ve seen since launch suggests it’s meeting a genuine need.”
LoungePair is pleased to welcome Vietnam Airlines as a strategic partner and to power its Lotusmiles Lounges platform, applying LoungePair’s technology to deliver a new, globally scalable loyalty benefit for Lotusmiles members.
Through the co-branded platform, Lotusmiles members can purchase access to Lotus Lounges or choose from more than 1,400 airport lounges worldwide within LoungePair’s global network. Lotusmiles members will earn Lotusmiles miles on eligible purchases, extending the utility of the programme beyond Vietnam Airlines’ own lounge footprint.
“We are delighted to work with LoungePair to expand access to comfortable, convenient airport lounge experiences. This partnership supports our commitment to enhancing every journey while making travel more rewarding, refined, effortless for Lotusmiles members,” said Nguyen Sy Thanh, Lotusmiles Director, Vietnam Airlines.
For LoungePair, the partnership reflects the platform’s role as an enabling technology for airline loyalty programmes, allowing partners to deploy new benefits quickly without building additional infrastructure.
“By powering lounge access for Vietnam Airlines, we’re enabling Lotusmiles to deliver tangible, high-value rewards to members wherever they travel,” said Daniel Kinnoch, CEO of LoungePair.
“Lotusmiles members gain simple, on-demand access to award-winning lounges worldwide, without the need for additional loyalty programmes, complex sign-ups, or advance booking, and with responsive customer support when it matters most.”
Lounge passes can be purchased easily online or via mobile, with fast checkout and instant digital delivery through a QR code and access code. Dedicated customer support is available for Lotusmiles customers on all lounge pass purchases.
The partnership demonstrates LoungePair’s evolution from global lounge platform to applying its technology to help airline partners enhance loyalty, unlock new revenue streams, and deliver better end-to-end travel experiences for members.
Tyler Dikman is the co-founder and former CEO of LoungeBuddy, the airport lounge booking platform acquired by American Express in 2019. Following the acquisition, he served as Vice President of Global Premium Products and Benefits at American Express, where he led the integration of LoungeBuddy and helped shape premium travel experiences for Card Members internationally.
In his advisory role at LoungePair, Dikman will support the company’s global growth and scaling priorities.
“LoungePair has built a strong platform with a clear value proposition,” said Tyler Dikman. “I’ll be working closely with the team on global strategy and execution, leadership and corporate direction, brand and marketing initiatives, and the development of partnerships as the business continues to scale. The focus is on delivering a consistent and comfortable experience for both New Zealand and international travellers wherever they are, and ensuring strategy translates into real, practical outcomes that continue to add value.”
In November 2025, LoungePair entered new partnerships with Zurich-backed travel insurance provider Freely, Australian Frequent Flyer, and global lounge network Dragonpass. These agreements expanded the company’s reach to more than 1,400 airport lounges worldwide and marked a step in extending its platform beyond direct-to-consumer sales into loyalty, rewards, and B2B channels across Australasia and Asia.
