Heritage Appoints New GM of Sales and Marketing

Heritage Hotel Management has appointed Garrick Loft as its new general manager of sales and marketing.

Loft previously worked as senior sales manager at the New Zealand International Conference Centre and has experience working in hospitality and tourism in both New Zealand and Australia. He has worked operational roles at Hotel Grand Chancellor Adelaide on Hindley and Melbourne’s Mantra Tullamarine Hotel.

“It is an important role at this juncture in the growth of the company. I will be drawing on my experience in the various industry segments and distribution networks to create a strategy that embraces the current challenges and opportunities facing our industry,” said Loft.

Loft has also recently worked in senior management roles at TravelClick and APX Travel Management.

“Garrick’s many years of sales and marketing experience stands him in good stead for his new role. He has an excellent background spanning hotels, the meeting and events industry, plus, large exposure to the corporate world through APX and TravelClick. We are looking forward to utilising his leadership experience, project management skills and revenue generation capabilities,” said Graham Yan, chief executive officer of Heritage Hotel Management.
