New Sheraton opens in Manila

Sheraton Manila in the Philippines

Marriott has continued its expansion into the Philippines with the opening of a Sheraton hotel in Manila.

The new 390-room Sheraton Manila offers a wide selection of room types, including two-level lofts ideal for multi-generational travellers and deluxe guestrooms with private gardens and a jacuzzi.

“With a presence in over 72 countries and regions, Sheraton is an exciting addition to the fast-growing hospitality scene in the Philippines,” said Mike Fulkerson, vice president, brand and marketing Asia-Pacific, Marriott International.

“The brand is trusted and recognised by travellers globally, and we are confident that the new Sheraton Manila will gather travellers together and connect like-minded people for business or leisure.”

The hotel is also targeting business travellers, becoming the first place in the Philippines to offer co-working space located in a hotel. ColLab is a modern high-tech hub featuring six private rooms and an expansive 415 square metre common area, designed to be a venue for product launches and networking events. Throughout the property there are an additional nine meeting spaces, including a ballroom which can accommodate up to 570 people.
