Two New Accommodation Offerings By Naumi Hotels

Naumi Hotels has recently opened two new accommodation offerings; Naumi Studio Hotel Wellington and their newly renovated The Dairy Private Hotel by Naumi Hotels.

Naumi Studio Hotel Wellington

Welcome to the enthralling Naumi Studio Hotel Wellington - an enchanting visual feast. In the heart of Cuba Street, this extensive 116-room property features eclectic spaces inspired by seafaring, the literary world and an enduring love.

A gaze into the melancholic stare of Lady Naumi's portrait that hangs proudly behind reception quickly ignites interest.

Lady Naumi was the first owner of the Hotel. Her lover was a humble merchant sailor whom she met on her travels abroad. The Sailor would often send care packages to her during his voyages with books, exotic plants, artworks and quirky objects.

While the Sailor went on his last voyage before coming home to Lady Naumi to settle down, Lady Naumi set up a beautiful grand hotel that the couple could run together. Designing the hotel with the Sailor in mind, she filled the lobby with all the fabulous books, oddities and objects that the couple had collected over the years.

The Sailor never returned - lost at sea with an unknown fate. However, the love story continues. Lady Naumi and the Sailor exist together as the love and beauty showcased in this exquisite hotel.

The rooms at Naumi Studio Wellington have been lovingly renovated with a contemporary spin that still honours that charms of this unique heritage-listed building.

There are six different rooms types to choose from, ranging from cost and curated studios, to an exquisitely furnished Executive Suite.

All rooms cleverly integrate design and function. By optimising the space available and using pops of bold colour with floral accents these rooms honour the heritage past of the building with a modern design twist. Rooms feature exquisite high ceilings and decorative windows for a ‘heritage chic’ experience.

Discover a cacophony of botanical delights in the Executive Suite, heavily influenced by the ‘English Print House’ style. The suite is furnished with eclectic modern furniture to meld together the old and new worlds. Features a spacious lounge area, dazzling bar, espresso machine, mood lighting, Queen bed and large spacious bathroom with shower.

All rooms feature free highspeed Wi-Fi, smart tvs with Netflix and double glazing.

The hotel is keeping it clean and green by eliminating single-use plastic with glass water bottles and laundry service options available.

The Dairy Private Hotel by Naumi Hotels

A rustic glamour and old-world charm have melded together in this lovingly refurbished central corner of Queenstown as The Dairy Private Hotel blooms into a veritable floral centrepiece.

With the fireplace running, there is truly something remarkable about the magnetic nature of a roaring fire. Guests are constantly mesmerised by the flickering flames as it warms the body, calms the nerves and empties the mind of worries,

It's an exquisite place to stay - even for just a day. The Dairy Private Hotel is located in Queenstown, it is a homely hideaway that received a reinvention from the masters of quirk - Naumi Hotels.

The boutique hotel experience has been reimagined, it delivers a design that reflects the love for the unexpected as well as the glorious town of Queenstown.

It sits somewhere between a luxury lodge and a hotel, and that's what makes it charming. The design brief was to take European chick and combine it with a daring, fresh and local approach, culminating in a lived-in yet rustic glamour for guests to experience.

The wallpaper from House of Hackney takes inspiration from British print houses and combines it with a modern twist - as it runs from the walls to the bedroom ceiling.

The rooms beautifully continue the alpine chic approach and are linked to the common areas by the exquisite geometric bespoke carpet, reflecting a European flair.

Taking your pick from the hotel’s rooms could prove difficult, one is spoilt for choice from the cosy charms of the Habitat rooms to the larger sized Oasis rooms with their captivating views out to The Remarkables.

The spacious Junior Suite dazzles with a crafted clashing of interiors to offer a new spin on a romantic retreat - complete with a private balcony.
