The Holiday Booster Getting Kiwis to the West Coast

A tourism campaign is offering a special discount to entice people to holiday in the West Coast.

The Holiday Booster campaign has a range of special packages to encourage people to travel there this summer, and the first 200 to sign up will get $100 off.

The packages include a variety of activities like a SkyDive, three nights in South Westland, as well as a relaxation break in Hokitika.

The campaign is the brainchild of Development West Coast who says there’s no time like the present to visit the region.

“It’s been an incredibly stressful time for many Coasters. The ongoing pandemic and the recent flooding in Buller have presented significant challenges to businesses and the mental well-being of our wider community,” it said in a statement.

“The Holiday Booster campaign provides the perfect opportunity to take a break, refresh and appreciate what we have on our doorstep, while also supporting West Coast businesses and communities who are facing another summer without international visitors.”

The offer will be open first to locals in the region, who will have a week more than anyone else to get their hands on the deals. For more information, visit www.westcoast.co.nz.
