In an increasingly data-driven society, hoteliers are turning to data to make more informed business decisions that consider shifting traveller demographics, booking behaviours, and preferred channels for their properties.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel franchising company, has recently selected Amadeus Demand360 to gain insight of their market performance and in turn, enhance its demand generation strategies.

Demand360 provides organizations with the most comprehensive, progressive on-the-books data that can help hoteliers measure their market and competitive set performance. As returning traveller demand is different from historical performance, it is crucial hoteliers understand sub-segment details showing whether travellers are from business, government, or association segments and sub-channel insight including granular OTA channel details.

Wyndham has 22 brands across nearly 9,000 hotels in 95 countries. The company’s partnership with Amadeus is the latest of their many efforts to help further drive the recovery of their franchisees amid the challenges of COVID-19. Through the collaboration, Wyndham franchisees will also receive preferred pricing on the property level edition of Demand360.

“Making the most effective business decisions requires that our teams have access to comprehensive market performance data. With extensive historical and forward-looking booking information, the depth of insight available in Demand360 enables us to optimize pricing and distribution strategies, helping maximize revenue for our franchisees,” said Vikram Pradhan, GVP Global Revenue Management, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.

“We’re pleased to welcome Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to our Demand360 program. This new partnership confirms the value of the solution in our current climate and deepens the insights that the program delivers to all our hotel partners. Staying close to our customers has always been a priority, which has only heightened through the challenges of the past two years. Based on customer feedback, we’ve increased the granularity of data provided in our solution to help hoteliers uncover new opportunities to drive profitable demand,” said Joe Ahmed-Youssef, Executive Vice President of Business Intelligence and Data Solutions, Hospitality, Amadeus.

Amadeus’ Demand360 offers hoteliers in-depth insight on market occupancy, including two years of historical data and one year of forward-looking data obtained from 30,000 data providers, enabling users to forecast future business conditions, and informed decisions for greater success.
