Best Airport Hotel in Australia/Pacific Region

Pullman Brisbane Airport was named the Best Airport Hotel Australia/Pacific at the prestigious Skytrax World Airport Awards, announced at the 2022 World Airport Awards in Paris, France. Pullman Brisbane Airport also ranked sixth in the World's Best Airport Hotels 2022.

According to Alex Penklis, Chief Operating Officer of Brisbane Airport Hotels Group (BAHG), the two awards are testament to the commitment and determination shown by its team during past challenging years.

"The entire team at Pullman Brisbane Airport is extremely proud of these Skytrax accolades, especially maintaining our position as the number one airport hotel in the Australia/Pacific region for the second time in four years – with two of those awards years impacted by a global pandemic," said Penklis.

"I am incredibly proud of what our dedicated team has achieved for our guests and owners, given the challenging couple of years we have had. We've never stopped working hard to maintain and deliver our world-class Pullman service."

This is the second Skytrax Award for Pullman Brisbane Airport, having received the Best Airport Hotel Australia/Pacific in 2019 and securing 5th position in the World's Best Airport Hotels 2019.

Pullman Brisbane Airport is part of a $150 million development, including the 243-room ibis Brisbane Airport and the 1,800sqm Brisbane Airport Conference Centre. The establishment was developed in 2017 by Anthony and Scott Flynn, of Flynn Property Group and Scott Flynn Properties, respectively. Together, the Flynn brothers have also delivered a quality 4.5-star hotel at Brisbane Airport's Skygate precinct, the Novotel Brisbane Airport. They are the largest franchisee partner for Accor in the region, with a combined 532 guestrooms.

Opened in October 2017 as a 5five star luxury offering under the upmarket Accor brand, Pullman Brisbane Airport features 132 rooms, including two Executive Suites, six Junior Suites, and 12 Deluxe Executive Rooms. The accommodation offers guests a premium transit experience while awaiting their next flight as guests enjoy a bite at the Apron Restaurant and Bar, unwind by the pool or relax in the Executive Club Lounge.
