Starry-eyed and eight years old Christopher Jordan dreamed of becoming a chef. With a heart of service, this became a lifelong passion for the hospitality industry, and it was with much pride for Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans to promote him to Hotel Manager.
“In a hotel known for its celebrations and bringing people together, often around the table, the warmth and care we show our guests is key to our success,” said Mali Carow, General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans. “In his new role, Christopher will nurture the guest experience through the highest levels of hospitality.”
Jordan boasts more than a decade of brand tenure across eight Four Seasons locations, six countries and three continents, bringing a wealth of experience with exceptional hospitality. From his first position as Executive Pastry Chef at Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis, he has travelled with the brand to appointments in Denver, Colorado; Doha, Qatar; Mauritius, Cairo, Egypt; Beirut, Lebanon; and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Prior to the promotion, Jordan served as Director of Food & Beverage at Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans. He played an integral role in the opening team, raising the bar for service and hospitality in one of America’s most iconic cities. Key accomplishments included a successful opening of Chandelier Bar, two partner chef restaurants (Miss River and Chemin à la Mer), a high-production In-Room Dining operation, and a dynamic banquets operation.
In his new leadership position, Jordan will oversee the guest experience of Louisiana’s only AAA Five Diamond hotel with an approach that plays up the heart without losing critical attention to detail.
