Now Open: Fouquet’s New York

The highly anticipated Hotel Barrière Fouquet's New York has opened its doors in Tribeca, bringing a new level of sophistication to the bustling streets of New York. The exquisite 97-room luxury hotel is a joint venture between the iconic French brand Groupe Barrière and Caspi Development. For the hotel's design, Martin Brudnizki Design Studio perfectly blends Parisian grandeur with Tribeca flair.

Hotel Barrière Fouquet's New York is Groupe Barrière's début property in the United States. Founded in 1912, the fourth-generation and family-run group operate various luxury properties worldwide, including Le Carl Gustaf in St. Barth's, Le Majestic in Cannes, Fouquet's Paris on the Champs-Elysées, and the Palace Les Neiges in Courchevel.

Hotel Barrière Fouquet's New York is designed by the globally acclaimed Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, spearheaded by interior designer and architect Martin Brudnizki. The hotel's design blends Tribeca's modern industrialism and Paris's elegant classism, which is reflected through the property's Art Deco inspiration. Brudnizki pays homage to the brand's Parisian heritage through the hotel's moulding, use of elegant fabrics, and the lavender-centric colour scheme seen throughout the hotel.

Hotel Barrière Fouquet's New York comprises 97 guestrooms and suites, including 65 standard King Rooms, 29 Corner and Terrace Suites, and duplex penthouse suite "Le Grand Appartement Terrasse." All guestrooms and suites showcase Art Deco-inspired furniture, European Style Chandeliers, and toile de jouy wallpaper - designed by Schumacher Hospitality, unique to the property.

The hotel's pièce de résistance is Le Grand Appartement Terrasse, an expansive two-story suite on the hotel's 7th and 8th floors. The Presidential Suite features unique colours showcasing soft greens, blues, and golds, departing from the primary scheme of the hotel. The suite consists of two and a half bathrooms, entertaining and dining spaces, an executive office, a master suite with a private terrace, a king-size bedroom, and three private balconies on the hotel's east and west. The suite's interior boasts glossier finishes, antiqued mirrors, plush fabrics, a massive chandelier, and floor-to-ceiling murals of exotic gardens and landscapes that line the stairwell and entry walls.
