New Accor Properties to Open in 2023

As Australia and New Zealand’s largest hotel operator, Accor is set to open spectacular new properties in 2023. For Accor, 2023 is projected to be a year of growth and investment in its communities.

The following new Accor hotels, resorts, and apartments will open their doors in 2023:

Australia

NSW - Hotel Morris.

Opening January 2023.

The historic 1929-built West End hotel within Sydney’s CBD will reopen as Hotel Morris following an extensive refurbishment. For more than 30 years as Australia's tallest hotel, the historic establishment will feature a ground floor restaurant, rooftop bar, and complete with 82 rooms.

NWS - Manly Pacific, MGallery.

Opening January 2023.

With front-row seats to Manly Beach, this Sydney icon will boast coastal luxury. In collaboration with the Australian designer Coco Republic, the modern hotel will offer an exclusive residence of 213 rooms, nine suites, a rooftop pool, and conference and events space.

NSW - Pullman Sydney Penrith.

Opening Q4 2023.

This 153-room hotel will form part of the Panthers Group’s Landmark transformation of the Penrith Panthers precinct, creating a prime business and entertainment destination. With a range of on-site facilities, including a restaurant, bar, private dining rooms and a ground-floor cafe, the hotel is adjourned to the new 1,250 square metres Western Syndey Conference Centre (WSCC).

QLD - Mercure Hotel Cairns.

Opening January 2023.

Mercure Hotel Cairns will bring Accor’s leading Mercure hotel brand to the coastal getaway destination of Cairns. After a multi-million dollar refurbishment, the hotel comprises 75 spacious guestrooms and a new restaurant serving the local delicacies of Tropical North Queensland.

New Zealand

North Island - Jo&Joe Auckland Fort Street.

Opening Q3 2023.

Housed in a historic building in the heart of downtown Auckland, this hotel will cater to a broad community of global travellers. This hub features 63 rooms, lively common spaces, a lobby cafe, and a rooftop terrace, allowing individuals to relax in comfort.

North Island - TRIBE Auckland Fort Street.

Opening Q3 2023.

With bold designs, this hotel will liven the Auckland hotel scene, offering 60 rooms, the latest technology, a lobby bar, and terrace.

North Island - Pullman Auckland Airport.

Opening Q4 2023.

This 313-room Te Arikinui Pullman, with unique Waikato-Tainui cultural elements, will offer a luxurious stay with a top-floor restaurant and bar and spectacular views across the runway for guests departing and entering Aotearoa, New Zealand.

North Island - The Sebel Wellington Lower Hutt.

Opening Q2 2023.

This chic apartment-style hotel will feature 60 fully serviced studios and one-bedroom apartments just a short drive from Wellington International Airport. Overlooking the Hutt River, the hotel will host a lively restaurant and bar called Biscotti.

South Island - Hyde Queenstown.

Opening Q3 2023.

Hygge Queenstown will offer 63 guestrooms, plus a restaurant and bar. Neighboured with restaurants, bars, and shopping along the iconic Shotover Street, each hotel on the Hyde property has been designed with its location in mind, ensuring that no two Hydes are exactly alike.
