Boutique hotel brand, Naumi Hotels, has just opened a new location on Cuba Street. The Naumi Wellington location marks the brand's seventh property across New Zealand, Australia and Singapore.
Naumi Wellington comprises 62 studio-apartment-style rooms that offer views of Cuba Street and the Wellington Hills. Designed by Material Creative, the hotel is decked out in a bold and vibrant colour palette, featuring lilac, avocado green splashes, subtle tumeric and rusty red.

Each room is fitted out with statement peanut bedside lights, made by the Sweden-based Ovature studios, as well as unique bedside tables, coffee tables and mirrors, designed by the young New Zealand design start-up, Made of Tomorrow.
Director and Interior Designer at Material Creative, Toni Brando, added that "there is a real charm about Naumi hotels, with a brief of no white, we are pushed to use colour in new ways and ensure we create unexpected spaces that bring people together."

Naumi also strives to provide all of its guests with a cosy and comfortable experience. Its walls are draped in sumptuous velvet, creating a warm ambience. Each room is fixed up with a 65" television equipped with all major streaming services, allowing guests to binge-watch their favourite shows in style.
In addition to its outstanding room service, Naumi Wellington offers guests a curated special mini bar of local New Zealand brands with their stay. Beverages like Peach and Blood Orange infused sparkling water and organic juices can be enjoyed at the hotel or taken with guests on departure.

What makes Naumi Wellington a stand-out is its hospitality spaces - Lola Rouge and The Parlour, which both have made waves in the Wellington dining scene.
Loula Rouge is a bar and restaurant inspired by the flavours of South-East Asia. It features a menu created by the award-winning executive chef Kiran Ghate and offers boutique wines, cocktails and beers from local craft breweries.

The Parlour is an eatery that specialises in serving High Tea and cocktails. Kitted out in pastel hues and floral sculptural assemblages created by New Zealand artist Judy Darragh, the Parlour was inspired by the glamour and romanticism of light-filled Parisian conservatories.
CEO of Naumi Hotels, Gaurang Jhunjhnuwala, stated that the business is very excited about the opening of Naumi Wellington.

"We love the spirit of Wellington - its grit, street art, galleries, cafes, fashion, cocktail and culture. I am very excited about this new addition to the Naumi portfolio of hotels where we invite guests to experience the whimsical world of Naumi."
