Valentina De Santis and her mother Antonella, the two feminine souls behind the beloved Lake Como hotels Grand Hotel Tremezzo and Passalacqua, just unveiled a new chapter for one of the projects dearest to their hearts: the online lifestyle boutique Sense of Lake.

To echo the familial sensibility of their homes, they have combined their gentle taste, love for beauty and eye for detail to curate a stylish edit of luxury accessories, clothing and homeware. They selected each fascinating piece for their bespoke collection, custom-made and inspired by their two iconic Italian homes, to share the same joy they experienced at each new discovery, with the aim of sending the timeless charm of Lake Como – the true Sense of Lake – to shine in all four corners of the world, on an everlasting journey.

Working predominantly with Italian designers like Chez Dede, Back Label, Bric’s, F.R.S. For Restless Sleepers, L.G.R., Le Niné, Mantero, Bottega Conticelli, Papusse – Valentina and Antonella De Santis started to collect stories that captivate them, that tell a tale of excellence and artistry, of Italian craftsmanship and tradition, in every detail. Each of these partners is an authentic, sensitive interpreter of Italian style, able to expertly turn their dreams and ideas into tiny masterpieces. It is, therefore, natural that most of these collaborations evolved into lasting friendships of shared passion, offering exclusive, special-edition items available only for Sense of Lake.
