Brisbane Airport has welcomed ‘Local’ to the Domestic Terminal, a brand-new 360-degree restaurant and bar, the largest to open in the Domestic Terminal's modern dining precinct at 425m2.

Drawing inspiration from the warm hospitality of a Queensland beer garden, ‘Local’ is a celebration of the state’s world-class local producers, distillers, and brewers, set amongst the timeless characteristics of a traditional Queensland home, with a majestic native fig tree as the centerpiece.

The menu will feature a delectable array of classic comfort eats, fresh seafood and salads, with all produce sourced from sustainable and ethically-minded suppliers. In addition, travellers will also have a selection of freshly made sandwiches & sweets to take on board.

Behind the bar, offerings include wine, craft beer and regional spirits with products from local heroes such as Green Beacon Brewing and Balter.
