Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, has announced the signing of a Taj-branded resort in Pushkar, Rajasthan.

Speaking on the occasion, Puneet Chhatwal, managing director and chief executive officer, IHCL, said having pioneered tourism in the state, IHCL is committed to Rajasthan for over five decades.

"The debut in Pushkar marks the opening of a new circuit while leveraging our presence in the region. We are delighted to partner with Master Resorts and Spa Private Limited,” said Chhatwal.

The 110-key resort is just minutes from the sacred Pushkar Lake and the Brahma Temple. Its offerings include an all-day diner, a specialty restaurant and a chic lounge. Guests can indulge in recreational pursuits at the swimming pool, state-of-the-art gym, and rejuvenating spa facilities. Boasting over 7,500 square feet of opulent ballroom space complemented by flexible meeting areas, the resort stands as an ideal venue for both corporate conferences and social gatherings.

Situated along the serene banks of Pushkar Lake, Pushkar is renowned for its rich spiritual heritage and revered pilgrimage sites. It's internationally acclaimed for hosting the annual Pushkar Camel Fair, a vibrant event that draws tourists from across the globe.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 28 hotels across Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta and Ginger brands in Rajasthan including eight under development.
