This week, a diverse group of individuals from the art, fashion and skate communities came together to commemorate the launch of Hôtel de Crillon’s recent collaboration with THE SKATEROOM.
Notable guests such as Michele Lamy, Sarah Andelman, Aline Asmar d’Amman, Ines Longevial, Charles Antoine Bodson, Jon Gray, Dana Thomas, and Ellen von Unwerth appeared at the unveiling.
The exhibit featured skateboard art by renowned artists, including Cindy Sherman, Jurgen Teller, Jenny Holzer, Ai Weiwei, and Andy Warhol.
Also featured in the display was a limited-edition Rosewood X THE SKATEROOM piece, created exclusively by the French artist Inès Longevial, known for her intimate, colourful, and impressionistic paintings.
Maison Lachaume provided stunning floral arrangements, and the music was curated by DJ Andy 4000. The exhibition represented the creative vision of Sarah Andelman, a prominent figure in the Parisian fashion and culture world and the founder of Just an Idea.
Aline Asmar d’Amman, an architect and the founder of Culture in Architecture, was responsible for the recent renovations at Hôtel de Crillon, with pieces thoughtfully chosen in partnership with THE SKATEROOM.
The collaboration combined Rosewood’s enduring dedication to creativity and community with skateboarding's contemporary energy and the transformative nature of art.
Skateboarding's inclusion in this year’s Games in Paris has marked a significant moment in the history of this global sporting event and inspired the Rosewood X THE STATEROOM partnership.
The exhibition will be open for viewing until the 14th of September 2024 at Hôtel de Crillon.
