AUSTRIA| Vienna is soon to be home to two new Spark by Hilton properties, as the brand expands its European foothold.
Hilton has announced the signing of two hotels under Hilton’s new premium economy conversion brand, Spark by Hilton, as part of a wider agreement with Verkehrsbuero Hospitality in Vienna.
Spark by Hilton Vienna Donaustadt and Spark by Hilton Vienna Messe Prater will both open later this year.
Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president, development, EMEA, Hilton, said it was a thrill to bring the Spark by Hilton brand to Vienna, meeting demand for premium economy accommodation in this highly popular destination for both business and leisure travellers.
“Our Spark by Hilton properties are ideal for guests looking to maximise the value of their travel budget, while experiencing the reliable and friendly service our hotels are known for across the globe,” said Fitzgibbon.
“This collaboration with Verkehrsbuero Hospitality marks a key milestone for Spark by Hilton as the momentum behind the brand continues, with nearly 250 Spark hotels already trading or under development worldwide following its launch just 18 months ago.”
Martin Winkler, CEO, Verkehrsbuero, said the company was thrilled to embark on this partnership with Hilton to bring new hotels to travellers.
“This collaboration marks a significant milestone for us, and to be part of the team bringing Spark by Hilton to Austria is incredibly exciting for us all, and we are eager to bring our shared vision to life upon opening both hotels,” said Winkler.
The 198-room Spark by Hilton Vienna Donaustadt will be located in the commercial hub of Vienna’s Donaustadt district, while the 243-room Spark by Hilton Vienna Messe Prater will be situated within walking distance of the main Vienna Exhibition Hall (Messe) and the Danube River.
Suited for both business and leisure travellers and providing exceptional value without compromise, both hotels will deliver reliable, friendly essentials with unexpected touches, and feature Spark’s signature amenities.
