In a place free from restriction, Moonbar was created launching a new frontier in natural food energy. The team spoke to the founder Richard King about his products.
What is your company background, how did you start the business?
“NZ Goodness Limited was established in 2013.”
What is the current product range and variants and how do these products stand out in the market?
“There are two product ranges; Moonbar and soon to be launched In the Wild. Moonbar is a premium whole food energy bar handmade in New Zealand. There are three flavours in the range. All contain New Zealand Rewarewa honey. Moonbar is dairy-free, egg-free, gluten-free, soy-free and sulphite-free. Moonbar is ranged in New Zealand’s two supermarket chains, Foodstuffs and Progressive, throughout New Zealand.”
Has there been any recent company news?
“Moonbar has been selected exclusively for the players’ lounge during the 2017 Wuhan Tennis Open.”
What are the plans for the business moving forward, is there any expansion on the horizon?
“The plan is to increase distribution in New Zealand, launch new products and explore one or two export markets.”
Where are your products currently available to buy, and are you looking at or wanting to expand your availability?
“Moonbar is ranged at selected Foodstuffs and Progressive supermarkets throughout New Zealand.”
