Hoards of CIO agents thronged the Holiday Inn Hotel in Harare, Zimbabwe after a bomb scare alert was raised.
The hotel received a phone call from two callers, both with American accents, who said there was a bomb in the building.
Guests and staff members were ordered to vacate the hotel premises to the assembly point following the news.
A source said the hotel’s receptionist received the phone call, which said there had been a bomb planted in one of the rooms.
Senior members of CIO and CID sped their way to the premises within minutes of the alert being raised.
