SECOND BIG WIN FOR ESK VALLEY ROSÉ

Esk Valley has won a second trophy for its renowned rosé at the New Zealand International Wine Show.
Earlier in the year, the 2015 vintage of this rosé also won the varietal trophy at the Royal Easter Show Wine Awards.
In explaining the wine’s success, winemaker Gordon Russell commented, “We incorporate a unique blend of Merlot and Malbec to achieve the bold pink hue that is our signature.”
“Nothing beats sitting in the sun with a chilled glass of this beautiful wine.”
Esk Valley also picked up six other gold medals at the New Zealand International Wine Show, for their 2016 Verdelho and Sauvignon Blanc, their 2014 Winemakers Reserve Gimblett Gravels Merlot Malbec and Hawkes Bay Syrah, and their 2015 Winemakers Reserve Hawks Bay Chardonnay.
The New Zealand International Wine Show is New Zealand’s largest annual wine competition, with 2050 entries this year spanning 12 different countries.
