Registrations Open For NZ Hotel Industry Conference 2018

Cordis Hotel, Auckland
The 2018 NZ Hotel Industry Conference will take place at Cordis Auckland, from 4-5 July.

The 2018 New Zealand Hotel Industry Conference has opened registrations. Hosted at the Cordis Auckland, the event is the largest annual event dedicated to New Zealand hotel sector. Last year’s conference attracted over 350 attendees, including hotel managers, investors and other major hotel industry players.

The focus of this year’s event is regional growth and looking how to share New Zealand's tourism boom with rural areas.

“The programme is focusing strongly on how we can encourage more growth in the regions. It’s about attracting high-value visitors to spend more time and money off the beaten track, which in turn makes regional hotel developments more attractive to investors,” Tourism Industry Aotearoa Hotel Sector Manager Sally Attfield said.

Speakers confirmed for the event include Air New Zealand Chief Executive Officer Christopher Luxon, Tourism Holdings Ltd Chief Executive Grant Webster and Westpac Chief Economist Dominick Stephens

The conference takes place over two days, from 4-5 July 2018. Wednesday 4 July features the Hotel, Technology and Property Forums, while Thursday 5 July hosts the main speakers and keynotes.
