Shoreline Motel on Napier’s Marine Parade caught ablaze yesterday. Emergency services were called to the scene at about 11:32 am to deal with the fire on a third-floor apartment.
The blaze started in a unit where nobody currently resides and thankfully nobody was hurt in the incident. After 10 minutes after fire services arrived at the scene, they were confident nobody was involved. Within an hour the fire was extinguished.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this point.
