The finalists have been revealed for the 2018 New Zealand Hotel Industry Awards.
This year’s show has a focus on the regions, highlighting strong competition from areas previously never nominated before.
36 finalists will compete for awards across 12 categories, ranging from Administration Employee of the Year to Senior Hotel Executive of the Year.
“The 12 Award categories recognise the many key roles that are vital to operating a successful hotel,” said Horwath HTL Ltd Director Stephen Hamilton.
This year’s competition will introduce a new award recognising the Regional Employee of the Year, which will go to the best operational employee working in a hotel not located in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch or Queenstown.
The New Zealand Hotel Industry Awards will be presented on July 5 as part of the Hotel Industry Conference at the Cordis Hotel, Auckland.
