OWNERS RETIRE FROM CHRISTCHURCH HOTEL

The longstanding Christchurch hotel and motel, Hotel Carlton Mill, is for sale for the first time in 46 years.

Hotel Carlton Mill has been family owned since it was established in 1972, and the owners have now decided to retire. The site was originally just a motel, and the hotel was added in 1985.

The on-site restaurant Strawberry Fare is one of Christchurch’s most popular restaurants and it operates under a separate lease.

The land, building, hotel and motel businesses are all for sale as a going concern.

The property is being sold by deadline sale, closing August 15, unless sold prior to the date.
