Hilton has come up again on Australia’s list of best companies to work for. The hotel chain came fourth on the list of the 50 companies in Australia with more than 1,000 employees.

“We are again thrilled to have been recognised by the Great Place to Work Institute. Our hotels and corporate offices are committed to providing meaningful career opportunities for our team; having already facilitated more than 375 internal transfers and promotions across the Australasia region already in 2018,” said Richard Todd, senior regional director, human resources, Australasia.

Recent initiatives Hilton has introduced which enhance the workplace experience include Thrive@Hilton and Travel with Purpose which motivates team members to volunteer to help others or take a sabbatical to pursue their dream for a month.

“This accolade is an attribute to all of our dedicated Team Members’ who work tirelessly and passionately to provide our guests with memorable and heartfelt experiences. We want to reward our Team Members and help them thrive as we know they are our greatest asset in supporting our commitment to be the world’s most hospitable company.”

Recently, Hilton was also awarded Asia’s Best Multinational Workplace, ahead of other major companies such as DHL, Salesforce and Intuit, who all employ thousands of people in the Asia region, in Hilton’s case approximately 160,000.
