Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel’s addition of three new suites is going smoothly. The first phase of major construction work to build the new suites atop the existing Remarkables Rooms has been completed. The following weeks will see the focus placed on the interior fit-out of these rooms – expected to be open in the late spring.
Styled in a similar fashion to the existing premier Remarkables Rooms, the new suites will feature individual gas fireplaces, an open balcony and breath-taking views over Queenstown Recreational Ground to The Remarkables mountains.
“As with any building process we were faced with the odd challenge, accentuated by working through the freezing winter months, but we are pleased with the progress to date,” said co-owner, Michael Patterson.
When the hotel was closed during the first phase, the Gondola-view rooms were considerably revitalised. All rooms were painted, desktops restored and, in some rooms, exceptional rich green chairs and cushions added. With plans in place for new bathroom amenities, bathrooms have been re-grouted.
The Gondola rooms are now welcoming guests who will enjoy Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel’s impeccable service, pre-dinner canapes and drinks along with complimentary gourmet cooked breakfast.
