Two French Polynesian hotels have managed to prevent a union strike. Bora Bora’s Intercontinental and the Meridien reached an agreement with the union.

In the agreement, however, the hotels rejected a demand from the union for a daily $10,000 incentive, which would have come to about $200 per month for each employee.
