Mercure Sydney International Airport has rebranded to Novotel Sydney International Airport following the hotel’s multi-million refurbishment.
The hotel will continue to operate under the Accor banner, now in the Novotel brand which is renowned globally for its multi-service offerings for both business and leisure guests.
“In conjunction with an extensive renovation, we saw an opportunity to further leverage the Novotel brand’s presence around the Sydney Airport precinct, and we are excited to welcome guests and showcase the refreshed hotel,” said Zayne Boon, general manager, Novotel Sydney International Airport.
The hotel’s renovations were completed by WMK Architecture and included an upgrade to the lobby, guestrooms and grand ballroom.
The new design carries a botanical theme throughout the property, with wooden accepts, botanical wallpaper and various pops of colour.
Furthermore, the guest rooms now have block-out curtains and double-glazed windows to improve sleep for travellers.
The hotel’s restaurant and bar concept will be refreshed with a new menu launch in the coming weeks, emphasising a paddock-to-plate philosophy.
