Australia’s second voco property voco, Kirkton Park Hunter Valley, has opened its doors.
The 70-room property sits on the Kirkton Park estate which covers 70-acres of countryside offering mountain views, right beside the region’s famous wineries.
“Guests have a revived appetite for bold, new experiences – and we know dining continues to be one of the leading reasons we choose to travel,” said Penny Crossley, general manager, voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley.
“The Hunter Valley is renowned for its exceptional food and wine offering, so it is tremendously exciting to introduce voco to the region to enhance our beautiful estate with a new, fresh and fun approach.”
Like the rest of the voco brand, sustainability plays a foundational role at the property. The hotel has adopted a paddock-to-plate ethos, and the rooms all have plastic-free bedding with soft duvets made from recyclable plastics.
Interior designer Greg Natale worked on the project, delivering several visual upgrades and maintaining the voco aesthetic throughout the hotel.
