AUSTRALIA | TFE Hotels has announced senior appointments across its Australian operations, promoting three long-serving operational leaders.
These appointments will strengthen operational leadership across key eastern seaboard markets while creating new opportunities for experienced leaders from within the business.
Sid Singh appointed Area General Manager NSW and General Manager of Adina Darling Harbour
Sid Singh has been promoted from Cluster General Manager to Area General Manager NSW, recognising his operational, commercial and people leadership across TFE Hotels’ Sydney portfolio.
In his previous role, he led multi-brand hotel operations through the post-COVID recovery, oversaw major capital expenditure and compliance projects, and contributed to business-wide initiatives spanning people technology, cluster reservations, and AI-enabled operational reviews.
Over the past 16 years, he has also helped develop future leaders and strengthen TFE Hotels’ internal talent pipeline. Based at the newly refurbished Adina Sydney Darling Harbour, Singh will take responsibility for the group’s Sydney portfolio.
TFE stalwart Jay Hore expands regional remit
TFE stalwart Jay Hore, Area General Manager ACT and Southern NSW, will add Adina Wollongong to his portfolio.
With more than 18 years’ experience at TFE, Hore has led multiple properties, developed high-performing teams and built strong relationships with owners and stakeholders. His expanded remit extends the operational leadership he already provides across the group’s ACT portfolio.
Shaarn Letele to lead Vibe Hotel Darling Harbour
Shaarn Letele has been appointed General Manager of Vibe Hotel Darling Harbour. He brings more than 17 years’ experience with TFE Hotels, having held senior roles across Australia and New Zealand since joining the group.
During his tenure, he has worked across multiple brands, including Travelodge Hotel Wellington, Adina Sydney Central and Vibe Hotel North Sydney. He also launched Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Airport, supported the introduction of the St Marks Road Co concept and most recently led the closure and reopening project at Adina Darling Harbour.
Broader operational changes
As part of the changes, Senior Director of Operations ANZ Tish Nyar will increase his remit to focus more on strategic operational activities and alignment across the ANZ region, while supporting and developing TFE Hotels’ Area and Cluster General Managers.
Accordingly, Ajay Vaid, Regional General Manager of VIC, TAS and SA, will have his regional remit expanded to include Western Australia and the Northern Territory. In Queensland, Briana Hill has expanded her responsibilities beyond Adina Brisbane, taking on a cluster role with operational oversight of the three Adina hotels in Brisbane.
Group Chief Operating Officer Chris Sedgwick said the changes would help position the business for future growth, create more opportunities for people to step into new roles, and support succession planning across the organisation.
