Leading Kiwi coffee roastery, Allpress, has taken its iconic and signature Allpress Espresso Blend, served in the best independent cafes around the world, and created its first capsule espresso, promising coffee lovers a flavourful and premium brew in the comfort of their own home or hotel room.
The Allpress Espresso Speciality Coffee Capsule has been years in the making and is a new innovation that will add to the local brands’ existing premium and specialty coffee offering from 12 July 2021.
The new capsule was carefully created using Allpress’ signature Espresso Blend, the same specialty grade coffee used by cafe partners around the world. It’s designed to deliver a more accessible solution for those seeking to enjoy coffee in bed without sacrificing the unmistakable and premium Allpress flavour.
To craft the capsule espresso, Allpress reformulated its Allpress Espresso Blend to highlight the rich caramel sweetness and increase the depth and ground it ‘super finely for a slower extraction. The grounds were then roasted at a high temperature to maximise the solubility of the coffee, recreating the iconic flavour of Allpress’ cafe coffee.
The new Allpress Coffee Capsules will be a valuable addition to in-room coffee and tea stations.
