As the Vietnamese government reopens the country to international tourists and lifts the last of its travel restrictions, Azerai, an emerging new luxury hotel group, welcomes back overseas visitors to Vietnam with exclusive offerings.
On 16 March, the Vietnamese government officially announced the end of all COVID-19 travel restrictions after two years of effective isolation from the outside world. International visitors will now only be required to present a negative RT-PCR test issued within 72 hours before departure or a negative RAT test within 24 hours of departure and certified by a competent authority.
Azerai Ke Ga Bay is a tasteful and secluded oceanfront retreat located in the southeast of Vietnam that launched at the beginning of the pandemic in November 2020.
With the relaxation of restrictions, travellers from overseas are welcome for the first time to set foot on the resort’s pristine five kilometres of white sand beach.

Azerai Resorts currently operates three properties in Vietnam. The other two include Azerai Can Tho in the Mekong Delta and Azerai La Residence, Hue in the former imperial capital.
To celebrate the lifting of travel restrictions, all three Azerai hotels have introduced unique offerings catering to travellers’ awakened desire for privacy, exclusivity and space. They have also revealed a lineup of memorable experiences for visitors to explore the local area and fully immerse in the culture.
Earlier this year, Azerai Can Tho debuted one- and two-bedroom private pool villas to complement its existing three-, four- and five-bedroom villas, offering upscale accommodation for any group size, from couples to families.
The villas range from 636 square metres to 1,583 square metres and include hosts who help create a personalised guest experience. Villa guests have access to all resort amenities and culinary offerings, as well as private luxury boat cruises in the Mekong Delta, deluxe picnics under the banyan trees, and other local activities.
In 2021, Azerai La Residence, Hue introduced an elegant 55-foot cruise boat, providing guests with a stylish and sophisticated way to experience the Perfume River in the heart of Vietnam. The boat is adorned with bright red accents and classic hardwood trim, featuring spacious lounge areas. It accommodates up to 16 passengers and offers three excursions: an afternoon tea cruise, a sunset cocktail cruise, and a dinner cruise.
