Accor Appoints Shelley Perkins as Senior Vice President for Talent and Culture

Accor, the largest hospitality group in Australia and New Zealand, has proudly announced the appointment of Shelley Perkins to the role of Senior Vice President of Talent and Culture beginning 28th March 2022.

With a wealth of experience, Perkins joins Accor Pacific from the Rosewood Hotel Group where she was based in Hong Kong as Chief Talent and Culture Officer for the past three years. Before this role, Shelley worked for Accor in Paris as Global Senior Vice President-Talent Management, focusing on global talent acquisition and development for Fairmont, Raffles and Swissôtel (FRHI). This followed her position as Vice President at FRHI from 2014, where Accor retained Shelley’s services after acquiring the group in 2016.

Previously, Perkins spent nearly two whole decades with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, starting her hospitality journey in operational roles. She later shifted into human resources, where she was appointed as Group Director of Human Resources for Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts in 2011. 

Perkins has a graduate certificate in management from Central Queensland University under her belt and is currently a member of the Society of Human Resources Management.
