Located in the heart of Auckland, five-star hotel Cordis, Auckland is delighted to present its guests with an "eggcellent" High Tea experience this Easter between 16-18 April.
Guests can indulge in the best of both savoury and sweet worlds.
For sweet tooths, there will be a delicious brûlée mousse cacao nib sponge; almond, mascarpone and roasted apple log and pumpkin St. Honoré.
Savoury offerings include carrot pannacotta with goat cheese crumble; classic salmon gravlax, gherkin marmalade, dill and sablé; and truffle brie tartlet, port wine glaze and hazelnuts.
There will also be delicate sandwiches and hot-out-of-the-oven scones served with artisan jams and clotted cream to round out the food offerings. For autumn, the signature scone is spiced apple.
The hotel will also showcase an exclusive chocolate Easter bunny cocktail available for purchase, a unique concoction of Baileys, Frangelico, Vanilla Absolut, chocolate syrup and cream. For kids, an iced chocolate mocktail will be available.
