Molton Brown Releases Sustainable Luxury Hair Care Collection for Hotels

Molton Brown, a luxury British fragrance brand, has announced the release of its Botanical Hair Care Collection for the hotel channel as part of its ongoing commitment to providing positive and mindful luxury for its hotel partners.

In recent years, sustainability and ethical production have become widely recognised as a core component of an authentic luxury experience by hotel guests. This belief that luxury and sustainability must go hand in hand has always been a part of Molton Brown’s philosophy since its humble beginnings as a Mayfair salon in the 1970s. This philosophy remains central to all of Molton Brown’s products many decades later.

The Botanical Care Collection for the hotel sector combines modern sustainable materials and innovative technology with conscious care for the environment.

The Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner are enhanced with sustainably-sourced chamomile grown in once-abandoned London underground tunnels with hydroponic systems and LED technology. Adopting a closed loop system to minimise agricultural runoff, the herbs are produced using less than 70 per cent less water than on a traditional farm.

“Our use of hydroponic systems in once-abandoned London Underground tunnels, alongside sustainably sourced Camomile, are a perfect showcase of our heritage, expertise and core beliefs, while also representing our continued efforts to push the boundaries in delivering premium and sustainable luxury,” said Simon James, General Manager EMEA, Molton Brown.

“With this new Botanical Hair Care Collection, we are delighted to offer our hotel partners and their guests another opportunity to weave a natural and sustainable approach into a premium and relaxing hotel experience.”
