JW Marriott Istanbul Marmara Sea

New luxury hotel JW Marriott Hotel Istanbul Marmara Sea has debuted along the beautiful waterfront oasis of Turkey. Encircled by the tranquil Sea of Marmara, the new property offers guests a mindful and transformative stay within Instanbul’s Atakoy district.

“JW Marriott combines a legacy of extraordinary hospitality with a refreshing commitment to mindfulness and wellbeing that resonates so deeply with today’s global traveller,” said Bruce Rohr, Global Brand Leader, JW Marriott. “JW Marriott Hotel Istanbul Marmara Sea embodies this holistic approach to the guest experience from its JW Garden, where organic herbs are harvested for use by the culinary team, to its robust fitness and wellness classes and introspective, intentional design. We know these principles will perfectly complement this breathtaking location.”

Designed by London-based firm KCA International, the hotel’s aesthetic is inspired by Turkey’s vibrant textures and the JW Marriott brand’s serene sensibility.

The lobby is embellished with a flying carpet art installation that pays homage to traditional Turkish crafts with a modern twist. Throughout the hotel signature, bespoke lighting by the artist Khuan Chew further showcases a contemporary interpretation of Turkish culture. From pools in the lobby to hidden garden spaces, every corner awaits to be explored.

“With breathtaking views and exhilarating activities for travel enthusiasts, JW Marriott Hotel Istanbul Marmara Sea is ideal for guests seeking to enjoy meaningful moments as they explore this historic destination,” said Candice D’Cruz, Vice President - Luxury Brands, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Marriott International.

As with all properties under the JW Marriott brand, mindfulness and connection to place are thoughtfully integrated into the hotel’s nature-focused design, holistic programming and wellness offerings.

JW Marriott Hotel Istanbul Marmara Sea presents a farm-to-table program with JW Garden, an organic and herb botanic garden. All the freshly grown products from the garden, such as tomatoes, mint, parsley, rocket, rosemary, olives and local greens, are incorporated throughout the hotel’s dining venues.
