Hotel giant IHG Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Marlow Hotels & Resorts to debut its fifth Holiday Inn Express in Singapore, expanding its country portfolio to 14 properties across seven brands.
Slated to open in 2023, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Singapore Novena will be rebranded from the former Quality Hotel Marlow. Currently closed, the property is set to undergo an extensive renovation this year to bring Holiday Inn Express’ clean, consistent and comfortable stay experience to travellers in Singapore.
“We made the decision to convert and upgrade our hotel to Holiday Inn Express & Suites Singapore Novena because we believe the brand’s positioning of providing simple, smart travel is ideal for meeting the changing needs of our guests,” said Marlow Hotels & Resorts’ spokesperson.
“As borders reopen, we know that travellers will be looking for comfortable, fuss-free stays. The brand’s ‘rest-and-go’ concept is perfect for the Novena area, a commercial and medical hub home to historical sites and local eateries. It will appeal to corporate, medical and leisure travellers to the vicinity.”
The upcoming hotel will feature 231 rooms, including 24 suites tailored explicitly to families, extended stay guests and large groups.
Facilities will include flexible meeting spaces of over 500 square metres, a gym, swimming pool and self-service laundry. Offering an integrated lobby and food and beverage experience, the Express Café & Bar will be the perfect place for those seeking a place to work or unwind.
Express Café & Bar joins over 3,000 Holiday Inn Express hotels worldwide and more than 650 in the pipeline. In South-East Asia, the brand recently introduced Holiday Inn Express & Suites Johor Bahru, and will debut Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites properties in Phuket, Penang and Vientiane within the following years.
