Sofitel Celebrates Bastille Day

As ambassadors of modern French style, culture and art-de-vivre, Accor’s Sofitel hotels and resorts across Australia are bringing Bastille Day to life on 14 July 2022.

To celebrate the French National Day ‘La Fête Nationale,’ Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, Sofitel Melbourne on Collins, Sofitel Adelaide, Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort and Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach invite all Francophiles to indulge in a range of magnifique experiences.

French heritage icon Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is offering a curation of French inspired culinary delights at Soirée at the Wentworth from 11-17 July. Featuring signature dishes, such as French cheese and charcuterie, lamb ‘façon bourguignon’, and orange crème brûlée. Vive la France et vive la gastronomie!

Sofitel Melbourne on Collins

Showcasing the crème de la crème of French pastry, Sofitel Melbourne on Collins is offering a Sofitel Paris-Brest with flair. This indulgent dessert includes choux pastry, hazelnut praline ganache, crunchy nougatine, apricot sorbet, available at No. 35 restaurant. Sip on ‘That French Cocktail’ made with cointreau, Lillet Blanc, white chocolate syrup and fresh lemon at Atrium.

Sofitel Adelaide 

Guests are invited to experience the signature French art-de-vivre at Sofitel Adelaide’s French-inspired restaurant, Garçon Bleu, with an elevated four-course menu of French specialities paired with d’Arenberg wines, featuring special guest Chester Osborn – a fourth-generation winemaker from d’Arenberg. The celebrations will continue as guests with the hotel’s Paint Au Vin event, featuring free-flow French sparkling, cheese and charcuterie and a French-themed painting session.

Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort

On 14 July, Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort will transport guests to a sophisticated Parisian Bistrot, serving their famous Bastille Day Dinner at Noosa Beach House, which includes a set menu of French classics with a modern coastal touch. Created by classically trained Executive Chef George Francisco, guests can indulge in delights such as foie gras terrine, French onion soup, and raspberry soufflé with vanilla crème anglaise to finish.

Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach

On 14 July, Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach will be welcoming arriving guests with complimentary champagne and traditional macaroons. Guests can dine in Room81 Restaurant and select from an array of French champagne, wines and French-infused menu items, such as duck l’orange, beef bourguignon and crème brulee. A Parisian-inspired coffee cart and boulangerie will also be available in the lobby.
