IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered a management agreement with Oriental Structural Engineers Pvt. Ltd. to develop a new Holiday Inn hotel - Holiday Inn Gurgaon NH 8 in the National Capital Region, a planning region centred upon the National Capital Territory of Delhi in India. The new-build property featuring 139 keys is scheduled to open by the first quarter of 2025.

Strategically located on the NH8 highway, Holiday Inn hotel - Holiday Inn Gurgaon NH 8 offers excellent visibility and accessibility as it connects Delhi Airport to Gurgaon. With its close proximity to established commercial developments within a five-kilometre radius, the hotel will be well-positioned to cater to corporate demand. Attractive venues for local corporate meetings and small to medium social events alike will be available. In addition, Holiday Inn Gurgaon NH 8 will be conveniently situated 15 kilometres and five kilometres from the International Airport and the Gurgaon City Centre, respectively.

Gurgaon has IHG hotels across brands, including Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express, offering guests various options depending on their needs and price points.

Once opened, Holiday Inn Gurgaon NH 8 will offer guests well-equipped contemporary rooms and state-of-the-art facilities for a comfortable stay experience. The hotel will also feature an all-day dining & bar, a lobby lounge, a swimming pool, a gymnasium and approximately 400 square metres of meeting and banqueting space to cater to the growing demand from the MICE and social events sectors.

"We are delighted to announce the signing of Holiday Inn Gurgaon NH 8 to solidify further the presence of our well-loved mainstream brand, Holiday Inn, in the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR)," said Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts. "Gurgaon has established itself as one of the country's most prominent and preferred corporate hubs and is amongst the most robust hospitality markets of the region. With the presence of large residential and commercial catchment around the location, we are confident that the new hotel will emerge as a great option for both corporate and leisure requirements."

The new signing aligns with IHG's strategy to expand its 'essentials collection' in India to match market needs and continue with the growth momentum.
