Nature-Inspired Renovations

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is bringing the outdoors in as it begins the nature-inspired renovation of its Private Residences. As part of its continued commitment to enhancing its mountainside property and guest experience, the new look is set to debut in December 2022.

Led by CHIL Interior Design, the refined interior spaces draw inspiration from nature's soothing white noise to help residents achieve an inner rhythm and sense of wellbeing. From the sounds of falling rain and swaying trees to trickling streams, rustling leaves and the call of crickets.

"The overarching concept for the renovation is a warm, sophisticated space that reflects the existing aesthetic of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler while at the same time bringing that outside beauty of Whistler and the mountains in," said Sandy Lu, senior associate at CHIL.

The renovation's overall mood and colour scheme will effortlessly aim to combine natural hues with a texture palette of wood, stone, natural fibre textiles, and leathers. Blurring the outdoor and indoor worlds, the inviting style has a Swedish spirit with a nod to the American Arts and Crafts movement, the whole comprising understated elegance and fine craftsmanship.

The Private Residences will feature sleek new furnishings in neutral tones to elevate the feel, comfort and aesthetic excellence. This includes gorgeous lanterns and planters for the terrace, modern accents and wall coverings, stunning stone backsplash, custom pull-out sofas with integrated shelving, elegant lighting, wooden floors and thoroughly selected artwork, to name a few.

Residents will also be able to adjust lighting and drapery to set different moods with the touch of a button in the comfort of their beds. With cutting-edge built-in music systems, these homes will become modern sanctuaries amid nature's most spectacular surroundings.
