Radisson Hotel Group has officially opened the doors to Radisson Resort Plaza Skiathos in the Greek Sporades islands on the coveted island destination of Skiathos, fabled for its unspoiled natural beauty and magnificent sandy beaches on the blue waters of the Aegean Sea.
The newly-opened resort is situated on the breathtaking south coast of Skiathos, the westernmost of the Sporades islands. With views of the Aegean Sea and Kanapitsa beach, the location is renowned for its beautiful coastline of more than 60 beaches, sea caves, impressive rock formations, and hiking trails on the tree-covered hills along the north shore where Mamma Mia was filmed. The Greek island also features Byzantine churches and monasteries, Venetian-style Bourtzi fortress, and Papadiamantis House with distinctive architecture, significant to its rich history.

The resort's 84 guestrooms and suites showcase a modern, minimalist design, with most of them overlooking the hotel pool or the sea. Radisson Resort Plaza Skiathos marks Radisson Hotel Group's latest island resort to open in the Greek islands, following the launch of Radisson Blu Euphoria Resort, Mykonos, in early 2022, and Radisson Blu Zaffron Resort, Santorini, which started to welcome guests in 2021.
