2022-2023 Best Travel Rewards Programmes

U.S. News & World Report, publisher of Best Hotels, Best Cruise Lines and Best Vacations, has unveiled the 2022-2023 Best Travel Rewards Programmes to help everyday travellers find the best loyalty programmes for their travel needs.

The rewards are divided into hotel loyalty programmes and airline frequent flyer programmes. The rankings consider each programme's flexibility with members, awarding additional points to programmes that have halted point or mile expiration, extended elite status and made it easier for members to reach elite status. Other factors include membership benefits, network coverage, the ease of earning and redeeming points or miles, hotel property diversity and airline quality rating scores.

For the first time, World of Hyatt took home first place in the Best Hotel Rewards Programmes ranking for offering a variety of ways for members to earn and redeem points, a range of hotel options for every budget and a unique opportunity to earn a free night by staying at five different Hyatt brand hotels.

For the eighth consecutive year, Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan has cemented its title as the Best Airline Rewards Programme, offering travellers one mile for every mile flown, the ability to earn and redeem on eligible flights with 20-plus partner airlines and its array of member benefits.
