DoubleTree by Hilton Esplanade Darwin has won the Gold Plate for Event Caterer of the Year. The Gold Plate awards are the Northern Territory's premier restaurant and dining accolades, and the win was announced in front of 500 owners, operators, staff and supporters on 15 August 2022.

In the past year, the hotel has accommodated private events, conferences, social and charity events, outdoor events, weddings, graduations, awards and gala dinners.
