Thailand's leading hotel operator, Centara Hotels & Resorts, is co-sponsoring sailor Sophia Montgomery, who is representing Thailand at the 2022 ILCA Under 21 World Championships in Portugal from 21 to 28 August 2022.
The sponsorship is part of the Group's commitment to supporting women in sport and young Thai athletes as they strive for sporting success on the global stage. Centara's support for Montgomery follows its previous sponsorship of Thailand's Chonburi Football Club for the 2020-2021 season.
Montgomery has joined approximately 240 athletes from 41 participating countries worldwide to compete in the individual Laser Radial (ILCA 6) category in Vilamoura's southern Portuguese resort town.
