Tokyo’s Haneda Airport Garden Set To Open

Japan's Haneda Airport is set to open its new airport garden on January 31.

Directly linked to its Terminal Three, the Garden is a retail and dining precinct that spans twelve floors. It features 60 different shops, 20 dining establishments and two high-end hotels - Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand and Hotel Villa Fontaine Premier.

The 1557 room Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand has 12 different room types, four restaurants and meeting facilities. Its smaller cosier counterpart has 160 rooms, with six types of rooms to choose from, including the Fontaine Suite and luxurious Executive King.

Topping off this exciting new build are rooftop hot springs. A nod to the significance of onsen culture, Spa Izumi will be open to the public for 24 hours a day.

Travellers can relax in the springs' mineral-rich natural spring water before departure, or even take a refreshing plunge in its jet pool and carbonated water bath, all while lapping up a scenic view of Mt Fuji.

A bus terminal has also been built to connect the airport to other regions of Japan, such as Osaka and Haneda's famous ski fields.
