Virgin Voyages’ and pop culture icon Jennifer Lopez have teamed up to deliver a one-time female empowerment cruise in April. With the five-night sailing journey starting in Miami on Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady, the themed cruise will include female entrepreneurship, wellness, and empowerment. While anyone is invited, the cruise will focus on celebrating women who are making it happen in the business world.
Virgin’s CEO, Sir Richard Branson and Lopez have conjured the Limitless Voyage by partnering with Lopez’s Limitless Lab. The Limitless Lab has been described as “a mission-driven organisation focused on changing the game for women to up-level their lives through equal access to education, opportunities, and capital.”
Lopez's statement detailed her passion for inspiring and empowering her fans.
“My mission has always been to been to entertain, empower, and inspire my fans to live their lives without putting limits on what they believe they can achieve,” Lopez said. “Richard and I share this passion for partnerships and experiences that bring people joy and lift you up, which is why I am so excited to work with Virgin Voyages to bring the Limitless Voyage to the seven seas.”
The cruise will offer special events designed to prompt women’s personal and professional growth, and activities will centre around the seven C’s: community, courage, character, confidence, care, clarity, and connection. Moreover, 50 cabins will be gifted to Latina entrepreneurs in connection with the nonprofit Grameen America.
“It’s exciting and inspiring to see the impact Jennifer’s having through all she does, not just in the entertainment industry, but also through her business ventures and her support of women’s entrepreneurship with Limitless Labs,” Branson detailed. “She brings so much passion to all of her projects, so it was the perfect opportunity to take that energy and spirit and together create a voyage unlike any other.”
Cruisers can benefit from networking events, inspirational seminars, and panel discussions with successful women entrepreneurs. With meditation classes and self-care practices, ‘90s dance classes with JLo playlists and JLo-themed dining experiences will be specially available.
Sailing destinations include Dominican Republic, Playa Dorada, Virgin’s exclusive beach club in Bimini, Bahamas, and two days at sea with themed cruise events. Jennifer Lopez will be there in person to wish guests a bon voyage from Miami.
