Tryp by Wyndham Open in Adelaide

Tryp by Wyndham has officially opened in Adelaide, and has welcomed its first guests through the door.

The brand new $50 million dollar, 120-room hotel is the first Tryp hotel in South Australia, and presently the only Tryp by Wyndham branded property in Australia.

Senior vice president of operations at Wyndham destinations- Asia Pacific, Warren Cullum, said that the new Tryp hotel is a unique and urban lifestyle, which has been branded by a global presence.

Every TRYP embodies the local flavour, rhythm, and beat of cities around the world, offering guests a personal retreat at the heart of an amazing cosmopolitan experience,” said Cullum.

The brand is self-described as “Millenial Foccussed,” incorporating creative designs, tech-savvy features, and social spaces. Tryp is located on Adelaides Pulteney Street and has put an urban twist on the existing brand. Developers said that this was a decision to reflect Adelaide’s vibrant and colourful culture, character, and history.

It is the perfect time to be opening this uniquely Adelaide hotel experience,’’ said Cullum.

“South Australia has recovered to 90 percent of its pre-pandemic record tourism investment high of $8.1 billion,” he said.

“Interstate, and intrastate, travellers are looking for new reasons to visit Adelaide. What better reason than to be one of the first guests to stay at this world-class hotel, right in the beating heart of the city.’’

Tryp by Wyndham was built in collaboration with Ginos Group, which is the first time the group has worked on hotel development. Ginos Group director, Zis Ginos said that the building will be a great feature for the city.

“With TRYP by Wyndham Pulteney Street, we have delivered an iconic building for Adelaide’s skyline. We are confident that over time it will become an Adelaide treasure – a place where memories are created, and the best of Adelaide is celebrated” said Ginos.

The new Tryp hotel features three different varieties of guest bedrooms, standard, deluxe, and six premium suites on the hotel's 11th floor. The hotel also includes access to the gym, library, business centre, and boardroom amenities.

The hotel is in close proximity to such tourist attractions as Adelaide Zoo, Botanic Gardens, and the Adelaide Oval. Corporate offices are also nearby, as too is Calvary Adelaide Hospital.
