Rydges Rotorua are Giving Away Holidays

After the turbulent start to the year, Rydges Rotorua has launched a campaign to encourage guests to take a trip to the central North Island town.

For the first week of April 2023, Rydges is offering 100 free experience-led stays at its hotel, in close proximity to the renowned Whakarewarewa Forest.

With only one in five Kiwis taking leave and workplace burnout impacting every third person, Rydges Rotorua wants to break down the barriers of booking a trip away.

In partnership with RotoruaNZ, and a number of Rotorua’s leading attractions, Rydges Rotorua will be offering three types of curated itineraries to suit today’s travellers' expectations and desires. From spending time at Velocity Valley with children, to igniting a sense of adventure on the mountain bike trails of the Whakarewarewa Forest, or relaxing in Rotorua’s Secret Spot Hot Tubs, guests will be able to pick their experience-led stay to suit their lifestyle.

General Manager of  Hotel Operations New Zealand at EVT, Simon White said that the last couple of years has been difficult on many, and that everyone deserves a holiday to spend time with people they care about.

“We’re very proud to invite Kiwis to rediscover Rotorua and most importantly, take that deserved annual leave,” said White.

“We also know that relaxation looks different to everyone, and we want to offer experiences that fit everyone’s ideals - whether that means a weekend of self-care, a couple of days soaking up the outdoors or spending quality time with the family” he added.

Brand and Marketing Manager at RotoruaNZ, Haydn Marriner said that Rotorua is the perfect place to come to recharge.

“The city offers something for everyone, from adrenaline-fueled challenges to child-friendly activities and geothermal spa and wellness experiences,” said Marriner.

Each claimed stay includes two nights at Rydges Rotorua including breakfast at their renowned Chapmans restaurant and there is direct access to the geothermal, heated swimming pool. There are also three itineraries for guests to choose as well.
