Celebrate the mother figures in your life with Executive Pastry Chef, Callum Liddicoat’s Mother's Day special afternoon tea at the Living Room. It is an occasion not to be missed.

Experience a limited edition menu, starting with a rosé spritzer cocktail prepared by The Captain’s Bar mixologists, live music from DJ and saxophonist Sam Jones and a gift from Kingdom Candles. Mum is sure to feel spoilt on her special day.

Start the afternoon tea with a delectable tempura prawn, pineapple lime and avocado tartlet, before indulging in a cheesecake made with local goat's cheese with red onion jam laid on herb biscuits. This is followed by Jerusalem artichoke custard with mushroom and potato chip.

Continue being delighted with truffle egg mayo, chive, and red endive brioche, a citrus salmon gravlax to make your mouth water with thyme crème, water cres, and milk roll. The final destination for savoury is freshly baked focaccia with prosciutto, roast fennel, fig relish and ricotta.

The sweet section of the afternoon tea features a hazelnut, caramel, milk chocolate truffle, strawberry basil mascarpone petit gateaux, roast pear and ginger whipped ganache orely chocolate, and a yuzu curd tart with lemon-lime salsa and salted vanilla cream.

A tonka bean donut and burnt butter madeleine sit alongside an earl grey sultana and an almond scone with housemade jam and honey whipped crème fraiche, to conclude this degustation on the waterfront.

The Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea is available on the 13th and 14th of May, at 12:00 pm, 2:30 pm, and 5:00 pm on both days.
