AYANA Appoints New PR Agency

Independent public relations and communications agency Anne Wild & Associates (AWA) has been appointed by AYANA Estate and AYANA Komodo Waecicu Beach to represent their exclusive resorts in Bali and Komodo, Indonesia.

With a remit to rebuild brand awareness and drive sales in both consumer and trade markets as Australians and New Zealanders continue to embrace Asian travel, AWA will work alongside its Balinese partner agency Scop3 to deliver a comprehensive media and communications program to reinforce AYANA’s unique proposition not just as the premier integrated resort in Bali, but in all of Indonesia.

Named after a ‘place of refuge’ in Sanskrit, the four distinctive properties comprising AYANA Estate (AYANA Resort, AYANA Villas, AYANA Segara and RIMBA by AYANA) sit within the 90-hectare Karang Mas Estate, which enjoys majestic ocean views from its clifftop location above Jimbaran Bay, just 12 kilometres from Bali’s airport.

Each property has its distinctive character and a range of accommodation options, from guest rooms and suites to multi-room villas, ensuring an ideal option for every type of traveller, from honeymooners and families to multi-generational groups or those celebrating milestone occasions. Adding to the appeal, guests staying at any AYANA Estate property can access facilities across the entire portfolio, including 14 swimming pools, 26 restaurants and bars, 15 MICE and wedding venues and a 22,000sqm Thermes Marins Thalasso Spa.

The five-star AYANA Komodo Waecicu Beach is an hour’s flight away on the rugged, scenic island of Labuan Bajo, the ‘launching point’ for trips to the home of the famous Komodo Dragon and an aquatic playground renowned for year-round scuba diving and watersports. This is also the home to the deluxe AYANA Lako’dia, a 54-metre-long traditional phinisi yacht sleeping up to 18 guests undertaking decadent voyages around Komodo National Park.

This appointment caps off a stellar first half of the year for AWA’s Travel and Lifestyle Division, which has recently added boutique Southeast Asian river cruise company Heritage Line, Myconian Collection in Mykonos, and Pan Pacific Hotels Group in Asia to its stable of travel and tourism clients.

Commenting on the appointment, AWA’s Managing Director, Anne Wild, said that travel is one of AWA’s passions and that it was a delight to partner with AYANA at a critical time for the brand, with a raft of innovative developments in the pipeline.

“Indonesia resonates incredibly well with luxury-loving local travellers, and we’re excited to showcase the incredible offering at Bali’s largest integrated resort AYANA Estate, and to inspire visitors to explore exotic Komodo, one of the region’s less discovered gems,” said Wild.

AWA’s Head of Travel and Lifestyle, Anna Caswell, said that Bali has always been one of the number one destinations of choice for Australians to travel to.

“We look forward to sharing our extensive expertise in luxury travel to showcase AYANA’s beautiful properties and sailings with travellers looking to experience the best in Indonesian culture, cuisine, style and hospitality,” said Caswell.

The global Travel Lifestyle Network (TLN) has recognised AWA's travel expertise, with AWA selected as TLN’s representative agency in Australia and New Zealand.  Anne Wild also sits on the TLN Board, heading up the APAC region.
